Indiana Bill Would Prohibit Landlords From Requiring Declawing–

Indiana State Representative Kyle Miller has introduced HB 1226, which would prohibit landlords from requiring declawing as a condition of tenancy. The bill has been referred to the House Committee on Judiciary.

Paw Project currently plans to support the bill. Paw Project sponsored to first “landlord bill” to prohibit landlord-mandated declawing in 2012. Minnesota, Rhode Island, aand Delaware have similar laws.
