Forks Township becomes the latest Pennsylvania city to outlaw declawing–

August 3, 2023 –
The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Forks, County of Northampton, Pennsylvania, voted to pass Ordinance No. 394, which amends Chapter 54 of the Code of the Township of Forks to prohibit the declawing of cats.

Paw Project Director and Founder Dr. Jennifer Conrad said, “We are grateful to the Supervisors for recognizing declawing as an inhumane procedure that should be prohibited.”
