MA Anti-Declaw Bill, S222, Approved by Committee –
November 4, 2021 – MA Bill S.222 was approved by the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure. The bill was authored by State Senator Mark C. Montigny. Paw Project Director and Founder Dr. Jennifer Conrad provided testimony at the Committee hearing.
The bill now has been referred to the Senate Ways and Means committee.
Montigny’s first version of the bill passed a joint committee hearing on July 22, 2019.
